I am interested in working with all ages of children. I have been a school psychologist in both public and private schools. I have also been an MFT and was on the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an oral examiner.
I can both give help to others, esp involving clinical and therapeutic issues including psycho-pharmacology. I have not had my license for a number of years due to a disability, and I will need help from others regarding the new ideas in school psychology.
I am dedicated to making certain that children get the best help they can, as they are our future.
I have had excellent relationships with teachers and other faculty members at the schools I have worked in. I understand the meaning of "team" work and adhere to consulting with as many of my associates as possible.
I am also concerned about ethics and the importance of abiding by them in all circumstances. I believe that we provide the moral compass for children as both examples and role models.
I understand the individuality of every child and attempt to ensure that they are placed in the least restrictive environment possible.
If I can help you, I'm willing and I am hoping you'll do the same for me.
Sincerely,
Roger Buck
What's your most extraordinary experience working with students?
There have been many. However, probably the best services I have provided have included my two Golden Retrievers. In combination with these animal companions, I have been able to see rapid change in children who may otherwise have been unsuccessful in reaching their goals...both therapeutically and educationally.
What's your favorite school psychologist joke?
School psychology is not a joke!!!
